• How can I give Bandy-Plus Suspension to my child? Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Bandy-Plus Suspension is to be taken with food.

• How Bandy-Plus Oral Suspension works Bandy-Plus Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: ivermectin and albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by preventing the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, thereby treating your child’s infection effectively.

  Alcohol:

  Bandy-Plus Suspension may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

• 
  Driving:

  Bandy-Plus Suspension may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

• 
  Kidney:

  Bandy-Plus Suspension is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Bandy-Plus Suspension is recommended.

• 
  Liver:

  Bandy-Plus Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bandy-Plus Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.

  Pregnancy:

  Bandy-Plus Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

  Breastfeeding:

  Bandy-Plus Suspension is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
