• How can I give Cyclopam Suspension to my child? Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Cyclopam Suspension is to be taken with food.

• How Cyclopam Oral Suspension works Cyclopam Suspension is a mixture of two active medicines Dicyclomine, an antispasmodic agent, and Simethicone, an antifoaming medicine. Dicyclomine works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving abdominal cramps and pain. Whereas, Simethicone disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

  Alcohol:

  Cyclopam Suspension may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

  Driving:

  It is not known whether Cyclopam Suspension alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

  Kidney:

  Cyclopam Suspension is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Cyclopam Suspension is recommended. However, Cyclopam Suspension should be used with caution in children with severe kidney disease. Discuss with your child’s doctor thoroughly before giving this medicine to your child.

  Liver:

  Cyclopam Suspension is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Cyclopam Suspension is recommended. However, Cyclopam Suspension should be used with caution in children with severe liver disease. Discuss with your child’s doctor thoroughly before giving this medicine to your child.

  Pregnancy:

  Cyclopam Suspension is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

  Breastfeeding:

  Cyclopam Suspension is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
