• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eldoper 2 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• Eldoper 2 mg Tablet is an anti-diarrhoeal medication. It works by slowing down the contraction of the intestines thereby decreasing the speed at which the contents pass through it. This allows more time for reabsorption of fluids and nutrients, making the stools more solid and less frequent.

  Alcohol:

  Avoid/limit alcohol consumption as it may increase the side effects of this medicine, such as dizziness and drowsiness.

  Driving:

  Eldoper Capsule may cause dizziness, tiredness or sleepiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience these symptoms.

  Kidney:

  Liver:

  Pregnancy:

  Loperamide belongs to pregnancy category C. It should be used during pregnancy only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Please consult the doctor if you are pregnant.

  Breastfeeding:

  Small amounts of Loperamide may appear in human breast milk. Therefore, it is not recommended during breastfeeding.
