• How Mikacin Injection works Mikacin 500mg Injection is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. It works by binding to a part of the bacteria responsible for protein production (30S ribosomal subunit), stopping their growth. This leads to the production of faulty proteins or a complete halt in protein synthesis, ultimately killing the bacteria or stopping their growth.

  Alcohol:

  It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Mikacin 500mg Injection. Please consult your doctor.

  Driving:

  Mikacin 500mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
