Shanac Tablet

• Shanac Tablet is used for pain relief
• It relieves pain in conditions like headache, mild migraine, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, or painful menses

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

• How Shanac Tablet works Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Paracetamol. These medicines work by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling).

• 
  Alcohol:

  It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet.

• 
  Driving:

  Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.

• 
  Kidney:

  Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

• 
  Liver:

  Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

• 
  Pregnancy:

  Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

• 
  Breastfeeding:

  Shanac 50mg/325mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
