• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• How Urimax Capsule MR works Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.

  Alcohol:

  Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

  Driving:

  Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR does not usually affect your ability to drive.

  Kidney:

  Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR is recommended. However, limited information is available on the use of Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR in patients with end stage kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

  Liver:

  Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  Pregnancy:

  Information regarding the use of Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR during pregnancy is not available. Please consult your doctor.

  Breastfeeding:

  Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Urimax 0.4 Capsule MR is not indicated for use in women.
